Implementation of Federal programs, aimed at the development of the infrastructure of investment sites, made for the attraction of major long-term investments in KBR's economy, reported Arsen Kanokov at the end of the State Council Meeting in Ufa. The meeting devoted to attracting investments into the Russian regions' economies was participated by Vladimir Putin

"At the initial stage the state resources for the regions' infrastructure development, were very important, "- Kanokov underlined. According to KBR President, it is the federal target program resources that served as a powerful spur to the implementation of major projects on the reconstruction and development of KBR resorts.

"At the time being we are mainly focused on the attraction of private investment inflows into the development of the above sites", - he said.

The President as well underlined, that cooperation between KBR and "Interros" company on the development of the north-eastern slope of Mount of Elbrus and the foundation of a world-class mountain ski resort shows that "the task is quite accomplishable".

Investment attractiveness of the area of Elbrus significantly increased after the road project "Kislovodsk -Prielbrussie" had been included in the Federal target program "South of Russia". 1.2 milliard roubles had been allotted for this purpose in the year of 2008. The road will provide tourists' inflow from Kavminvody.
