World Heavy Weight Free Style Wrestling Champion Bilyal Makhov won the vote for the best sportsman of September. He got 59,1 % votes of TV channel "Sport" viewers and visitors of Sportbox.ru, compared with Evgenia Kanaeva's 47,1 %, who won 6 gold medals at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship. The names of Elena Isinbaeva (Track and field athletics), Irina Kalentieva (Bicycle Racing), and Egor Mekhontsev (Boxing) were also included into the voting list. 

Bilyal Makhov, a strong man from KBR has become the best wrestler of the Championship in HERNING, Denmark. He didn't loose a single point and his advantage over the opponents was unconditional. Now, at the age of 22 he is two-time Free Style Wrestling Champion. But the sportsman is such a many-sided phenomenon that he can successfully participate in Greco-Roman wrestling competitions. Bilyal Makhov was born on September 20, 1987 in Nalchik. He is two-time World Champion. In 2007 Bilyal was declared by the Rusian Olympic Committee the discovery in summer sports. Bilyal will be nominated for Sportsman of the Year award.
