The third level "Mir" (3500m.) - "Garabashi" (3870 m.) is expected to be commissioned after the second one. Its capacity is 1600 people per hour and the length is 1700 meters. It will be the biggest cableway in Europe.
Victor Popovich the chief executive officer of the contracting firm "I-B-C" said that the copters can't fly on such a height because of the rarefied air. Due to it they will have to bring about building materials and equipment to the glacier "Garabashi" with the help of prime movers. Builders are tracking for them now. "If we don't ease down the rate of construction, the third level will have been commissioned in a year" - Victor Popovich promised. Construction of the fourth level of the cableway up to the station "Priyut Odinnadtsati" (4200 m.) is also in the plan. Besides, builders of "I-B-C" settled down to the development work of 12 ski runs of different multiplicity degree from "green" to "black". Total length of the runs is 25 km. |
