Arsen Kanokov bought a comfortable minivan for the Union of filmmakers of the republic. The money for the car is taken from the President’s personal fund. Chancellor of the head of the republic Aminat Ujanaeva presented the car keys to the chairman of the Union of filmmakers of KBR Vladimir Vorokov, saying that Arsen Kanokov regularly meets cultural workers, representatives of art and creative unions, and takes interest in their problems and renders support. She added that reconstruction of the Musical Theater and the Holiday Hall is being carried out. Commissioning of the Palace of Theaters is planned for the year of 2012.

Vladimir Vorokov thanked the President of Kabardino-Balkaria on behalf of colleagues for his attention to people who devoted their lives to Art:

“The republican Union of filmmakers holds a prominent place in the Russian culture. TV and film festivals are held in Kabardino-Balkaria. A travel meeting of the Filmmakers Union Secretariat was held here. A representative office of “Gosfilmofond” of the Russian Federation was opened in Nalchik, the city’s oldest cinema “Pobeda” is planned to be reconstructed. Thanks to the President’s gift - the seven-seat “Sobol”, members of the Union now have the opportunity to meet their colleagues in neighboring regions. They can also visit settlements of Kabardino-Balkaria, regiments, frontier posts, many aother places and institutions where people love good cinematography”.
