Vladimir Zhamborov is appointed to the post of  the head of the KBR President’s Administration. President of KBR Arsen Kanokov signed the corresponding order on November 3.

Zhamborov Vladimir Sultanovitch was born on October 7, 1953 in the village of Nartan of the Chegem District of KBR.

He graduated form the Kabardino-Balkar State University from the engineering and building department, Dagestan Institute of Management and Business on specialties “Law” and “Economy”.

He began his working carrier in “Cherepovetsmetallurgstroy” trust, and then worked in construction industry of Kabardino-Balkaria. From 1988 to 1996 Zhamborov worked as a chief engineer in the Republic of Guinea and then as a general director of the Russian construction and erection organization.

He traveled a long road from the chief specialist to the Deputy of the Head of the Administrative Committee of the Program “Stabilization and Development of the Economy of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria”.

From March 1997 to January 2002 he was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.

After that he headed public corporation “Kabbalkenergo”, later – various commercial organizations. Since March 2007 Zhamborov was the Resident Representative of Kabardino-Balkaria to the RF president.

In March 2009 Zhamborov was appointed to the position of the acting head of the KBR President’s Administration.

Vladimir Zhamborov was awarded the Honorary diploma of KBR, he is a Honorable Builder of the Russian Federation.

Zhamborov knows French, he has a wife and two daughters.
