150 letters and appeals were received in the Internet Reception of the KBR president (www.president-kbr.ru) within the period of 15 to 31 of October. The majority of letters (24 %) refer to housing problems; 21 % of letters touch upon the problems of housing and communal services; 12 % of letters are critical ones; 11 % are about healthcare; 9 % are about education, the same number is on employment; 10 % of letters contain projects and suggestions; people thank the president in 4 % of letters.

Jamal Misirov from Verkhnyaya Balkaria addressed a request to restore the bridge on the road Upper Blue Lake – Sukan-Su – Dougat. The Bridge piers were washed down by cloudbursts.

Acting Minister of Transport Anuarby Sunshev responded on the president’s commission: “The work on bridge restoration has been completed. Dwellers of the village of Verkhnyaya Balkaria can get to the hayfields. We have also completed grading of the macadam”.

Asker Apazhev from Baksan on behalf of the tenants of the house in Elbrusskaya Street asks the president to facilitate settlement of the question on the house capital repairs. KBR First Deputy Prime-Minister Adib Abregov informed that 3,575 mln. roubles are due for the repairing of this house within the framework of the Federal Law “On the Housing and Communal Services Assistance Fund ” and republican targeted program “Capital Repairing of apartment houses in KBR in 2010”. Currently soft roof has been repaired, parapet eaves from galvanized steel are being set, plastic windows have been installed in the entrances, repairing of   domestic pipelines and networks is being carried out. About 47 % of the money allotted has been drawn.

G. Podobryi from Nartkala wrote to Arsen Bashirovich on behalf of veterans who live in Kamsomolskaya street. “The town has always been one of clean and tidy towns of Kabardino-Balkaria and now we are grieved to see mounts of trash in our broken-down street”. The head of the local administration of the Urvan municipal district of KBR Antemirkan Kanokov said that to solve these questions a tender had been announced to carry out repairing of the asphalt road covering. Specifically he said: “Repairing of the carriage-way of Komsomolskaya street will be carried out. Dustbin site has been changed as it does correspond to sanitary code. Currently household rubbish is removed on schedule”.

Vyacheslav Samoilenko from Moscow suggested the president his project on the construction of mini-plant to produce ceramic brick. KBR Head of the Government Alexander Merkulov said that there are 8 brick plants in the republic with total capacity of 90,8 mln. bricks per year. “The yield of brick has decreased because the building volume has decreased and new kinds of walling have been developed within the last few years. Specifically, 59, 5 mln. bricks were produced in 2007; 58,3 mln. in 2008; 31,7 mln. in 2009. The level of brick production covers the demand of the republic in bricks and partially covers the deficit in neighboring regions”.

The head of the Council of KBR public movement “For solidarity “Syabry” Pavel Sydoruk congratulated Arsen Kanokov on the decoration with The Order of Merit for the Fatherland: “I wish you further success for the sake of the people of Kabardino-Balkaria! Our republic has become our home for all of us regardless of the place of birth”.
