Arsen Kanokov took part in the meeting of the Youth Government of KBR founded in February of the current year. There are 15 ministers in the government headed by the Prime-Minister and two Deputy Prime Ministers. The head of the republic took part in the meeting for the first time. He attentively listened to each speech, gave sound pieces of advice on realization of ideas.   

The head of the youth government Zalina Shokarova spoke about the activities of the youth organization on the development of projects and suggestions aimed at social and economic development of the republic. She also told about participation in the social and political life of the republic, holding events of social importance both regional and interregional. 

The Minister of Finance Anna Mishkhozheva made an analytical survey of the organization and economical potential of the innovative development of the KBR economy. She suggested creation of the plenipotentiary body responsible for the development and coordination of the innovative activities.  

Minister of Sports and Tourism Marianna Kanametova informed about the projects on making the republic more attractive for tourists by creating ethnographic educational centers – ethnographic villages of Kabardians and Balkars. Realization of the project will ensure additional jobs and influence positive image of the people of Kabardino-Balkaria. Minister on Information and Communications Atmir Alakaev offered launching a project on creating the system of finding and promoting talented and active young people of KBR and asked to include the projects into the republican programs of personnel training to work with the youth. Arsen Kanokov thanked them for interesting ideas and requests and ordered that some of them should be realized. Specifically, an educational program of young ministers’ professional development will be worked out. The term of their authorities which is one year now will be prolonged up to two years when changes have been made in the regulations. The place where they can regularly meet will be defined. The president supported the idea of ethnographic villages and offered places to set them. “We can set them in Nalchik or in Prielbrussie so that guests of the republic could get acquainted with the life of the republic, the culture of the peoples” – added the president.      

Closing the meeting Arsen Kanokov said that the activities of the Youth Government contributed to the attraction of young people to tackle the problems that the powers of the republic face, promoted realization of the principal directions of the youth policy, education and creation of personnel reserve. 

“You are pioneers and you have to move through trial and error, set your own traditions which will facilitate the work of your successors” – he said. The president approved of active work of the Youth Government, its intention to cooperate with the Youth Chamber of the KBR Parliament, including the preparation for the 65-th anniversary of the Great Victory and All-Russia Student Spring. 

“It must be interesting for the youth to live in the republics and we must do our best to create comfortable living conditions both in cities and villages to prevent drain of young specialists from the republic. Our young people must be highly educated. To achieve this aim we must eradicate corruption in educational institutions. You can help us in this sphere. The youth must have clear life views” – emphasized the president.

Arsen Kanokov informed that he was going to take part in the meetings of the Youth Government once half a year.  

Youth Forum will be held in Nalchik

Arsen Kanokov, President of KBR and member of the United Russia Supreme Council made a decision to hold a youth Forum similar to the one on Seliger. He announced it today at the meeting with Sergey Zheleznyak, the member of the State Duma economic policy and entrepreneurship committee, the head of the Northern Caucasus Council of the United Russia and Ruslan Gattarov, the Chaiman of the political council of the All-Russian public organization “Molodaya Gvardiya”.

The initiator of holding the forum in Kabardino-Balkaria is the head of the republic. He believes that a similar playground for the communication of the youth must also function in the South but not only in the central part of Russia. “When they come here they will see with their eyes what is going on in Kabardino-Balkaria, the way people live here, how tolerant they are. Our youth has a developed sense of patriotism and love for Russia. It always brings people closer”. 

Considering the importance of the event Arsen Kanokov said that it must be organized on the highest level.  “People on the Caucasus are ambitious. They always want to be the best in everything. We must ensure high class of the forum organization” – he said.

Speaking about holding the forum in KBR Sergey Zheleznyak called it “a very important event for the Northern Caucasus and the South of Russia. One of its principal tasks is to give the youth an opportunity to communicate, meet with interesting people, and acquire knowledge. It is important to hold such integration events because it is impossible to solve common problems within one city or region. The youth is a special category. It can get integrated quicker, contributing to the progressive development and peace” – emphasized Sergey Zheleznyak.

According to Ruslan Gattarov the Northern Caucasus is in the focus of the general attention and holding the forum here will become an important event for Russia.  “We believe that young people from all over Russia must come here and see Kabardino-Balkaria – one of the most beautiful nooks of the country”.  More than 1000 activists of youth organizations, members of youth governments, Parliaments, young businessmen, sportsmen and volunteers are expected to come in KBR. Not less than 7 playgrounds on interests and directions including political, national and cultural and educational ones must function within the framework of the forum. Professional coachers will work with young people. The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, the Olympic Champion Svetlana Zhurova volunteered to head the work of one of the sections.

The place of the forum is not chosen yet. The resort area of Dolinsk, the Blue Lakes and Prielbrussie are the variants to be considered.   

The Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Adalbi Shkhagoshev, acting head of the KBR president’s administration Vladimir Zhamborov, the deputy chairman of the KBR Parliament and the chairman of the regional office of the United Russia Ruslan Zhanimov, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Camber of the State Duma Timur Sageev and he head of the Youth government of KBR Zalina Shokarova took part in the meeting.
